Who Benefits From Limitations & Playing Small?

We still live among people steeped in lack, separation, and fear — folks who’ve never heard of spirituality, oneness, or non‑duality. And though we’re not here to convince, explain, or justify ourselves, it’s crucial to stay mindful, to stay grounded in our I AM-ness, and not absorb their limitations. If they affect or trigger us, then it is because they mirror something that we haven’t fully let go of now, and are invited to do so.

Even or I would even say especially our closest — mom, partner, best friend — can trigger those old stories, and our bodies might act “weird” in response (due to old familiarity). Our families know most of us the longest, even before we “woke up” and realized Oneness; that all of this is a dream.

But ask yourself:

  • “Who really benefits when you dim your light, when you play small, when insecurity takes the wheel?”

  • “Who gains when you cling to “having the last word,” mistaking defensiveness for power?”

Think back to every time someone urged you to “be realistic”— when “realistic” really meant settling for less and playing it safe. They spoke from fear: of failure, of being seen as crazy or arrogant, of exclusion — the latter is outdated primal sh*t masquerading as “common sense”.

But here’s the flip — the opportunity:

Your bold vision unearths their blind spots — even if you come off as boastful or “out of touch with reality”.

Remember: their defense of limitation is just their way of protecting what feels safe — and a reflection of what was your “fake safety net” due to human conditioning as well. Show them compassion, yes — but don’t sacrifice your vision.

Your dream isn’t a cute fantasy. It’s a gift you, the Divine, crafted for yourself — you are the wish fulfilled itself, nothing can exist without you as the Life Force.

Don’t abandon your dream life & most of all, your true nature (you animate human bodies but you aren’t human), abandon lack & separation instead— it’s your birthright, no matter how “comfortable” the old story feels. This comfort is just familiarity dressed as such — it’s not true comfort. True comfort is knowing yourself as Source & trusting and being stable in it.

Speaking the Language of Source

When you communicate — with yourself, with others, or with “the world” — remember that it’s all you as Source moving through every voice, every object, every body. Every word you speak, every gesture you make, is the Life Force animating both “your” form and “theirs”. So, choose your language as deliberately as you choose your Truth: speak from the infinite wellspring within, recognizing that every sentence you speak ripples through the shared dream. In doing so, you honor the unity behind every mask, you remember that underneath all of these surface-level illusions is Divine Love, and you ensure your truth resonates not as a battle cry, but as an invitation for everyone’s deeper remembering.

Also, don’t underestimate the power of stillness. If you don’t know what to say, let this be an invitation to “be still and know” — presence can speak more than a thousand words. This can be a good challenge for those of you who might have been used to filling every moment of silence with words or the “need to lead” conversations out of the fear of discomfort due to stillness.

Stillness and pure presence are highly intimate & sacred.

It can feel weird or even feeling delusional can arise when you step out of the illusion & start living from your true essence as God. For this very reason, and the deeper desire for connection (= unity) with like-minded beings “who just get it” & understand you, our “Living as Source” community might be your new cozy home in the online space (and beyond)

So today, ask yourself or journal:

  • “Am I letting “someone else’s” fear dim my light? What limitation am I defending by doing so?”

  • “What narratives am I accidentally confirming by playing small?”

  • “How can I stand in my truth — fully unleashed — without abandoning compassion?”

Because the only ones who truly benefit from your limitations are those who profit from your smallness. And, sweetheart, you weren’t born to fit inside that tiny box. You are infinite and limitless — how could infinity possibly fit into a box? ☻

(This entire dream, yes, even your mom and the human character you have been identified with so heavily with are contained within you, your infinite, spacious awareness.)
